Biography
Walter:- b.1843. Christened with Caleb on 28th December 1851. He married Sarah Kitchener b.1846, daughter of Alfred, on 12th October 1865. Walter was a labourer and lived at Silver End. Walter and Sarah’s children included Alice b. 1867. Married Joseph Tuffnell, son of Robert, on 25th December 1887. Amos b.1872. Herbert Frederick b.1876. Albert Thomas b.1879. Leonard William b.1883. Percy John b.1886. Ernest Charles b.1888. Ernest married Mary Hayes b.1891 in 1912. Ernest died on 29th December 1972 followed by Mary on 19th May 1981. Their daughter Gladys may was born in 1917 and died in 14th January 1998. Walter died June 1923. Sarah died June 1928.
