Henry Geary, the son of William Geary and Mother Unknown, was born about 1810 at Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England. Birthplace from 1851 England Census. He was baptised on 5 October 1810.[1]

Marriage 1
He married Martha Pitkin on 8 July 1830 at Northchurch, Hertfordshire, England. [2]

Marriage 2
He married Louisa C Dalziel in 1856.

Henry Geary is recorded in the 1851 England Census, age 41, married to Martha Geary, a farmer of 90 acres employing 5 men; Event Place Northchurch, Hertfordshire, England; Registration District Berkhamstead. [3] His children are William (17), Henry (15), Emma (13), Martha (11), Joseph (9), Noah (8), George (4).

He is recorded in the 1861 England Census, age 51, widowed, a farmer of 270 acres employing 8 men and 5 boys.[4] His children are Emma (23), Martha (21), Joseph (20), George (14), Alfred (11), Edward (8).

In the 1871 England Census, he is 60, has remarried (Louisa C), is still a farmer, Event Place Whipsnade, Bedfordshire, England, United Kingdom.[5] Children are daughters Martha (31) and Annie (17).

Henry Geary died on 16 July 1894 at Maitland, New South Wales, Australia.[6]

GEARY.—Died, at East Maitland, on July 16, 1894, Henry Geary, of Buckinghamshire, England. Aged, 84 years. [7]

He was buried at East Maitland Cemetery, East Maitland, Maitland City, New South Wales.[9]
