Biography

Helene Gautreau was born 15 Jan 1720. She was the daughter of François Gautrot and Marie Vincent. She was baptized the next day at Saint Charles des Mines, Grand-Pré, Acadia. Her godparents were Francois Gautreau and Marie Vincent.[1] [2]

Hélène GAUTROT, daughter of François & Marie VINCENT, born/baptized (Grand Pré Register) 15/16 Jan 1719. [ Discrepancy with two other sources giving birth date 16 Jan 1720). She married 1st (Belle-Ile-en-Mer Declaration) around 1741 to Pierre THIBODEAU, son of Philippe & Isabelle VINCENT. She was on the 1759 census at Malden, MA, a widow. She married 2nd around 1762 to Jean-Baptiste BUARD. On 1763 list of arrivals at St-Malo, age 40 years (sic). On 1765 census of Sionnamary, age 39 years (sic). She died before 10 May 1785.[3]
