Eliza was born on a property on Lot 3 of Concession 1 in Kinloss Township. Very little of the land was cleared when her father bought it and the family lived at first in an uninsulated granary. She married William Graham and they farmed successfully at Lot 32 of Concession 6 in Kincardine until she died early of cancer in 1924. [1]
