Biography

Alice was born in 1864 in Starke, Bradford County, Florida to father Allen Geiger and mother Sarah Knight.^[1]

Allice Geiger wed Josephus A. Peeler March 9, 1882 in Clay County, Florida.^{[2] [3]}

Alice Peeler was enumerated as head of the household in Rivers Mill, Sharon Green Cove Springs, Clay County, Florida for the June 13, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as a farmer and born February 1863 in Florida. She was widowed and an owner. She was the mother of five children of which all were still living as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household were daughter Jessie H Peeler, son Hinton C Peeler, son Glover Peeler, son Josephus G Peeler and daughter Blanch E Peeler.^[4]
