Brack Gentry Jr

LISBON - Brack D. Gentry Jr., 83, of Grant Street, passed away, Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014 at his home.

He was born Oct. 12, 1931, in Sullivan's Creek, Lee County, Ky., a son of the late Brack D. and Mattie (Oldham) Gentry Sr..

He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Louise (Sparks) Gentry.

Survivors include eight sons, Darrell, Wayne, Mike, Dan, David, Gary, Ralph, and Russell Gentry; two daughters, Joyce Newman and Anita Eggen; a sister, Helen Varney of Cincinnati; and 23 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Following his wishes, he was cremated and no formal calling hours or funeral services were observed.

A memorial service was held at his home in Lisbon.

The Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
