David Gentry & Elizabeth Whitlock from Louisa County Virginia the first Gentry in this area. John Norment Gentry asks to be buried in the burying ground on the hill near the old Gentry House where his Mother and Father was Buried. There are many unmarked graves in this cemetery so is not proven but it is pretty good circumstancial evidence . It is my hope to bring some focus into who these unmarked graves belong to as these people are my ancestors.

DAR states David's first wife's name is Elizabeth Smith. Do you have a record that proves her last name is Whitlock?
Gentry-1110 and Gentry-187 appear to represent the same person because: they have the same dates and places of birth & death
