Biography
When Jessie Gentry was born on March 1, 1884, in McCoy, Oregon, her father, Isom Barney Gentry (1847-1992), and her mother, Martha Jane Flanary (1859-1935). She married Arthur Clarence Thurber on May 3, 1910, in McMinnville, Oregon. They had one child Edward Barney Thurber during their marriage. She died on October 18, 1965, in McMinnville, Oregon, at the age of 81, and was buried in Masonic Cemetery, McMinnville, Yamhill County, Oregon.
