Gilbert Gerard was born in England.
Gilbert Gerard, twin of Radclyffe Gerard, was a son of Radcliffe Gerard and Elizabeth Somerset[1] born in 1584.[citation needed] Gerard was a Royalist commanding officer during the English Civil War of 1642 until his death in 1646.
He married Anne Litton...[1][2]
In December 1643 he was appointed as governor of Worcestershire.[1]
Gilbert Gerard died in 1646 and is buried at Worcestershire.[1]
