In December 1896, he founded the architectural firm Gesellius, Lindgren, and Saarinen.[5] Before he became an architect, he had worked in the Nobel factory in St. Petersburg, Russia.[6]
He graduated from the Helsinki University of Technology in 1897.[7]
He died on 24 March 1916 in Kirkkonummi, Finland.[10]
