(Wellsboro Gazette [newspaper, Wellsboro, PA] Thursday May 8, 1941): Campbell Gibbs Campbell Gibbs, Esq., of McLean, Virginia, died Friday morning at 8 o'clock, after a short illness. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Ida Foote Gibbs, daughter of the late Henry M. Foote, formerly of Wellsboro, a brother, Dr. Malcolm Gibbs, of Washington The funeral was held Tuesday.^[1]

The couple were witnesses at the wedding of Paul R. Smith and Marian Lee Patterson, parents of this profile manager, on 15 December, 1918, in Washington, D. C. Ida and Paul shared dual relationships as 3rd cousins and step-1st cousins, once removed.
