Research Notes

There was a book on Family Search that was linked to this profile when I adopted it but the link was not working. Book is called Nicholas Gibbs and his descendants, 1733-1977 but is a protected book. There is a Nicholas Gibbs Historical Society that has the copyright on the book.

Marriage-- name on the marriage record with Samuel Frazier is Tinsey Craighead so it does appear there is a marriage prior to Samuel Frazier. Some people have her linked to other marriages after Samuel Frazier but up through the 1870 census she is showing as Frazier.
