Biography

Andrew Perry was born 15 Apr 1817, son of Samuel Gibson Catherine Gratner . Andrew first married Sarah E. (THURMAN) 07 May 1835. They were the parents of two children. Andrew second married Rebecca Barnes (WARD) about 1847. They were the parents of one son.

Andrew was the the first postmaster of the Gibsonville, Virginia Post Office from it's establishment 2 Feb 1855 until he was replaced on 4 Apr 1870 by Mary Barnes. ^[1]

Andrew passed away 08 Apr 1890^[2] and was buried in Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Russell County, Virginia.
