Andrew Gibson, son of Richard Gibson and his wife Elizabeth, ^[1] was born in about November 1847 in Steeple Barton, Oxfordshire. ^[2][3] He was baptised on 21 November 1847 in Steeple Barton, Oxfordshire. ^[1] He married Annie Gamage in about November 1871, their marriage was registered in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. ^[4]
