Biography

When Dock Gibson was born on August 28, 1902, in Jackson, North Carolina, his father, Jason, was 35 and his mother, Belzora, was 33. He married Rosa Ethel Elders on October 4, 1924, in his hometown. They had three children in 13 years. He died on May 17, 1973, in Whittier, North Carolina, at the age of 70, and was buried in Barkers Creek, North Carolina.
