10 Aug 1825, William bought 25 acres of land from his father Ruben for $40 on Yellow Creek, Deed Book A, page 132.

1830 Census Harlan County Kentucky, William is listed with his family, line 121,1. William aged 20 to 30, 1 female aged 20 to 30, and 1 male child 1 to 5 yrs old (This would be Jeremiah).

Was living in Knox County Kentucky in 1850.

Census record: 1860 Knox County Kentucky #909.

15 September 1869 William F. Gibson bought 200 acres at Stoney Fork, Yellow Creek, Bell County Kentucky. Deed Book 113, p.274.

15 January 1887 He added 50 more acres. Deed Book 109, p.265 Stoney Fork, Yellow Creek, Bell County Kentucky.
