James A. Gibson, age 83, died at his home in Dixon Monday. Death was caused by senility. Funeral services were conducted at Poole early Tuesday afternoon by Rev. Curd and interment was made in the Poole cemetery.

Surviving Mr. Gibson are three daughters: Mrs. K. J. Bridwell and Mrs. J. F. Williams of Dixon, and Mrs. Clarence Pore of Cincinnati, Ohio; five sons, J. L. Gibson of Sebree, C. E. and D. A. Gibson of Henderson, C. W. and Pete Gibson of Dixon.
