Caleb, I apologize fr not responding sooner. It has been a while since I did much genealogy. Yes, the name could very well be spelled wrong. My father's name was Willis Gibson and I have a lot of info if we seem to be a match. His last name was spelled Gibson, Gipson, and several other ways on his birth certificate and his military papers. If what I have on my wiki tree looks similar to your family, it probably is the same family. If you email me and let me know , I am more than happy to share what I know/think I know. Hey Patricia, I don't know if you had gotten my message. What i have goes back to Oscar and Frances. I know they are buried in Pine Log Cemetery in Jonesboro AR where alot of the Gipsons are includding Effie Jo. My great grandpa was Earl "Short" Gipson and he was Oscar and Frances son.
