Mary Gibson, daughter James Gibson and Jean Doig was baptised in the parish of Dundee, Angus on 23 April 1797.[1]
James and Mary married on August 11 1827 at Mains And Strathmartine, Angus[2]. Mary Gibson was from New Mill of Mains. Her father was James Gibson, her mother Jean Doig.
After her husband's death Mrs. Gibson went to live with her son George in Kellean.
She passed away in 1881 in the district of Killean and Kilchenzie, Argyllshire aged 85.[3]
