Helen was born in 1923. She was the daughter of Charles Gibson and Bessie Pottorff.

Darlene was married three times before Alfred Fritts, .She had two babies with first husband they were stillborn, Barbara Jean Pryor, July 21,1941, Baby boy Pryor, July 4,1942
