Biography

Dolly Gilbert was born in Ontario County, New York in 1806 to Harry Gilbert and Esther Hills. She grew up on her family's farm in Bristol.^[1]

Dolly married Darius Rowley about 1826. They had a farm in Bristol.^{[2][3][4][5][6]}Darius died in 1872. In 1875, she lived in Bristol near her sons Thaddeus and Edson.^[7]In 1880, she lived in Bristol near her son Thaddeus and his family. ^[8]In 1892, she lived in Bristol with her son Edson.^[9]

Dolly died in Bristol in 1892^[10]She is buried there in Evergreen Cemetery,^[11]
