Sarah is reference her father Joseph's will written in 1707. Her intention to marry Benjamin Stackhouse is recorded in the Middletown Monthly Meeting records on 11 Aug 1728. The wedding was recorded as having been accomplished on 10 Oct 1728.
She and Benjamin had two children, Grace and Benjamin, before he died in 1732. In her former father-in-law Thomas Stackhouse's estate record dated Sep 11, 1745, she is "Sarah (now Roberts)."

In 1728 when Sarah was 18, she first married Benjamin STACKHOUSE, M, in Middletown MM Bucks Co PA. Benjamin died in 1732.

Sep 11, 1745 Left estate to the two children of his son Benjamin (deceased); Benjamin (about 12 years old) and Grace (about 15 years old). Benjamin's widow is Sarah (now Roberts). Thomas Gilbert and John Chapman of Wrightstown appointed guardians.
Mar 15, 1748/49 Grandson Benjamin, one of the two legatees of the will, is near 16 years old and petitions for guardian. Isaac Pickering of Solebury, blacksmith, appointed.
Sarah moved from Wrighstown MM to Buckingham MM 1747 9m 2d the same date Walter Roberds claimed membership through his mother.
