Biography
Farmer Gilbert was born in 1840 at Stratton St Margaret in Wiltshire, England.[1][2] He was the son of Richard Gilbert & Elizabeth (Habgood) Gilbert.
Farmer Gilbert married Sarah Spphia Hogben in 1863, marrying at All Saints Church in Sandhurst in Victoria, Australia. [3]
Farmer Gilbert passed away in 1911 at Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, Australia [4] and is buried at Kalgoorlie Cemetery in Kalgoorlie-Boulder City.[5]
