Biography

According to the 1940 Census, Harry's wife's name was Opal (b. ca. 1910 in Iowa), and they are living in Laguna Beach, California.

There is a passenger/crew manifest from 1927 that shows a Harry Gilbert, b. 1909 in America, arriving in N. Carolina. The ship's name is not clear on the record image. More research is needed to determine if this is the same Harry Gilbert.^[1]
