• Fact: http://familysearch.org/v1/LifeSketch While I don't know where he was for the 1850 Census, a Christopher Gilbert, shows up on the Knox County, KY 1855 tax list, as a male of 21 years, on the line immediately above Wallace Gilbert. That they are on consecutive lines shows a likely connection. He was not on the 1853 or 1854 tax lists, suggesting a male who just turned 21 in the previous 12 to 18 months.
