!The History of Weare, NH, by William Little, p. 861, lists a "Daniel Gile, b.19 Sep 1771, m. Abigail Peaslee; lived at South Weare. One child, Daniel, m.Patience Buxton. He d. 1872; his wife d. 1876. A brother of Daniel m. Lydia Peaslee, a sister of Abigail. He d. and thewidow came to Weare with two children: Abigail, b. July 21, 1803; d. unmd.; andTimothy, b. !A Genealogy of the Peaslee Family, 1638-1898, by George F. Beede (NH Hist.Soc.) - p. 13, shows Abigail Peaslee, dau. of Timothy and Abigail Meader, b.14 dec 1766 , d. 9 sep 1836, m. Daniel Gile. On p. 12 it says "Moses Gile, brother to Daniel Gile who was b. Sept. 19,1771, d. Nov. 29, 1834, (entered above it says (Daniel) died 1872), and LydiaPeaslee (dau of Timothy) ch. 1. Abigail b. Aug 21, 1803 (or Jul.) d. unmd; ch.2, Timothy, b. 17 Aug 1805. d. unmd." Then written in another hand under Timothy, "Daniel and Abigail (Peaslee)Gouit had one ch. Daniel m. Patience Buxton." Above the entry on Moses Gile, crossed out, is Gile or Gouit. Gile is clearly written on both p. 12 and 13. It seems to say that ch. of Timothy's 2nd wife Lydia Bunker start about 1771, so Lydia the wife of Moses is half sister toAbigail, the wife of Daniel.
