Biography

Mark Gile was born on Aug 13, 1809 in Mount Vernon, Kennebec, District of Maine, son of William Neally Gile (1776–1864) and Amy Philbrick (1783–1845).

Mark married Emiline Hanscomb Robinson[1] on Jun 21, 1835 in Mount Vernon. Their known children were:

  1. Lewellyn F. Gile (1836–<1918)
  2. Emma A. Gile (1838–1925)
  3. Laforest M Gile (1840– )

Mark died on Jul 17, 1843 in Thomaston, Knox, Maine, United States, aged 33.

Mark was buried in Readfield Corner Cemetery[2] in Readfield, Kennebec County, Maine, United States with a death date of July 17th, 1843.
