Biography
William Giles is allegedly the son of James and Susannah Giles. As of 2017, this has not been proven satisfactorily to satisfy DAR requirements.
William is living in Abbeville County South Carolina in 1830 and 1840 with the correct family size to be the family William Giles born in 1788 and died in 1844 in Abbeville County South Carolina.
I will or probate has not been found for William Giles who died about 1844 in Abbeville County South Carolina.
Deeds would be helpful. If anyone lives in or near Abbeville and has the time to go to the courthouse to locate his deeds that would be much appreciated.
