Biography
Mary Giles was the Wife of Samuel Jones, who died in April, 1784, in Virginia (probably Amelia county). Samuel was a veteran of the American Revolutionary War, and honored by the Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution as DAR Ancestor #A062610. Applications for membership in the Society of the DAR have been made by the descendants of their son, Samuel Jones, who married Ann Branch (Mosely) Cocke. [1]
