She and Gideon appeared on the census of 9 June 1900 at Marshall County, Tennessee.[4]
Emma died on 23 Dec. 1940 probably in Oklahoma and was buried at Sallisaw City Cemetery, Sallisaw, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone shared with Gideon and a link to that of a child. [1]
