Biography

Rachel Emma Giles, daughter of Sam Giles and Mirion Drusilla (Preslar) Giles, was born on 11 March 1871 in Tennessee, USA.[1]

She appeared on the census of 21 June 1880 in the home of her parents at Marshall County, Tennessee.[2]

She married Gideon Amos Glenn on 31 Dec. 1884 at Marshall County, Tennessee.[3]

She and Gideon appeared on the census of 9 June 1900 at Marshall County, Tennessee.[4]

Emma died on 23 Dec. 1940 probably in Oklahoma and was buried at Sallisaw City Cemetery, Sallisaw, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone shared with Gideon and a link to that of a child. [1]
