Birth: Mar. 22, 1803; North Molton, Devon, England
Death: Sep. 3, 1858; Goulds, Delaware County, New York, USA
"Mary Gillard Gould arrived in Newburgh 1835 from England. Must have been
exhaused from a harrowing sea voyage with 4 kids. (her husband was already
here) Including an infant son who died and was buried at sea. Met up with her husband who came to the new world a year before. Infant who died was James, apparently named after his grandfather.
So when the next male child was born Aug 8 1836 he was named James."
