Eliz Gilaspie was enumerated at Bundys District, Surry County, North Carolina for the August 18, United States Census, 1860. She was noted as born 1847 in North Carolina as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Elijah H Gilaspie, female Matilda Gilaspie, female Artelia V Gilaspie, female Sarah Gilaspie, male Jno Gilaspie, male Thos Gilaspie and female Martha Gilaspie.[1]
