Richard Livingstone Gillespie was born on 3 Mar 1915 in East Fork, Transylvania, North Carolina, United States, son of Leon Gillespie (1882–1951) and Ada Garren (1877–1961).
Richard and Marian Elizabeth Estridge were married on 30 Aug 1941 in Sanford, Seminole.[1] Marian was born in Sanford, Seminole, Florida, United States.
Richard passed away on 19 Jun 1990 in Brevard, Iredell, North Carolina.
