Nancy Ann Gillespie was enumerated at District No. 32, Franklin County, Georgia for the October 18, United States Census, 1850. She was noted as born 1842 in Georgia as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male James L Gillespie, female Elizabeth Gillespie, male Asbury Gillespie, female Frances P Gillespie, female Malinda F Gillespie, female Mary P Gillespie, male Graves B Gillespie, female Elizabeth A Gillespie, female (male) Veonye [George] Gillespie, male James M Gillespie and male John M Gillespie.^[1]

She was noted as born 1843 in Georgia and widowed. She was the mother of three children of which two were still living as seen in the image of the original census.
