Elmer J Gillespie was born May 30,1911,^[1] in Uvalde County, Texas.^[2]

Elma Gillespie was enumerated as son of the head of household at Sinton Road Number 3, Justice Precinct 7, San Patricio County, Texas for the February 14, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1912 in Texas and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head John Gillespie, wife Florence Gillespie, son John P Gillespie and brother Carroll C Gillespie.^[3]

Elmer J Gillespie is listed in the July 16, 1996 United States Social Security Death Index. He had received his Social Security number in Texas. His last place of residence is noted as Travis, Texas.^[1]
