[5] Robert was living in Kanawha county, Virginia 1850. Wife Margaret does not appear on this census. [6]Robert along with his son Morris used his U.S. Land Warrant and $100 to buy property on Campbells Creek in Virginia [7]. Robert was living in Kanawha county, Va in 1860 [8] I can find no 1870 census records for the area where Robert Gillespie lived. There is no mention of a John C Gillaspie in the note.
