Biography

Thomas C.^[1] Gillespie was born in about 1754 in Rowan County, North Carolina, USA.^[2] He married Margaret Flora McKay (1768-1821)^[3]. He died on Oct 11, 1837 in Rowan County and is buried at the Thyatira Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Mill Bridge, Rowan, North Carolina, USA, along with his wife and two children (John C. Gillespie and Flora Gillespie).^[4]
