Biography

Stella was born September 16, 1879 in Pine Forest, Texas to father G L Gillespie and mother Elizabeth Hanson.[1]

Stella Gillispie wed R. P. Junell December 20, 1894 in Hopkins County, Texas.[2]

S F Junelle was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Justice Precinct 2 (south part), Hopkins County, Texas for the June 12, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born September 1879 in Texas and had been married five years. She was the mother of three children of which two were still living as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head R P Junelle, son I A Junelle and daughter R Y Junelle.[3]

Stella F Junell was enumerated as head of the household at Cottonbelt Railroad South, Pittsburg, Camp County, Texas for the May 2, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1880 in Texas and widowed. She was a manager of a boarding house and a renter. She was the mother of five children of which four were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are son Ivin A Junell, daughter Roxa Z Junell, son Travis F Junell, daughter Lucile Junell and boarder Lanie P Melton.[4]

Stella Junell died March 18, 1955 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. She was widowed.[1]

Stella Gillespie Junell is buried at Pine Forest Cemetery in Pine Forest, Hopkins County, Texas, USA.[5]
