Biography
Hughld Gillespie was born March 13, 1919 in Lorenzo, Crosby County, Texas to father Egbert Gillispie and mother Mollie Feland.[1]
Hugla Gillespie was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at Justice Precinct 1, Crosby County, Texas for the May 5, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1919 in Texas and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head E H Gillespie, wife Minnie C Gillespie and mother-in-law Lizzie Irey.[2]
Hughla May Gillespie was enumerated as daughter of the head of household in Guymon, Texas County, Oklahoma for the April 26, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1919 in Texas and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head E H Gillespie, wife Minnie Gillespie and daughter Frances Gillespie.[3]
Hughla May Gillespie Carnes is buried at Horner Cemetery in Cassville, Barry County, Missouri, USA.[4]
