Robert was born in 1778. He was the son of Daniel Gillespie and Margarel Hall. Robert married Nancy Hanner. The birth of at least one child o the couple is recorded in the records of Buffalo Presbyterian Church, Greensboro. [1] Robert passed away in 1829 and is buried at Buffalo Presbyterian Church.[2]
