Biography

Laura Gillespie was enumerated at The 17th subdivision, Blount County, Alabama for the October 28, United States Census, 1850. She was noted as born 1846 in Alabama as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male John C Gillespie, female Adaline Gillespie, male Hanibal Gillespie, female Clary Gillespie, female Frances Gillespie, female Mary Gillespie, female Josaphene Gillespie and male John C C Gillespie.[1]
