Adaline Gillespie was enumerated at The 17th subdivision, Blount County, Alabama for the October 28, United States Census, 1850. She was noted as born 1820 in Alabama as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male John C Gillespie, male Hanibal Gillespie, female Clary Gillespie, female Frances Gillespie, female Mary Gillespie, female Laura Gillespie, female Josaphene Gillespie and male John C C Gillespie.^[1]

Parmelia Gillispie was enumerated at Summit Post Office, Western Division, Blount County, Alabama for the June 4, United States Census, 1860. She was noted as born 1818 in South Carolina as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are male John C Gillispie, female Clara Gillispie, female Mary Gillispie, female Josephine Gillispie, male John C Gillispie, female Emily Gillispie, male Thomas T Gillispie and male William Walls.^[2]
