Sarah Ethel Gillies (married name Oataway) was born in 1886 in Boort, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Isabella (McLean) Gillies and Donald Gillies.[citation needed]
She married Cresser Edward Oataway in 1928 in Victoria.[1]
Sarah died in 1970 in Footscray, Victoria, aged 84 years.[2]
