My name is Charles Gillispie, My passion is Genealogy and History of my surname Gillespie/ Gillispie/ Glapey etc.. I have a group of that is petitioning the Lord Lyons office to recognize the "Clan Gillespie" as an individual clan. Gillespie relatives by blood or marriage are welcome to join us and I would encourage you to do so.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.

Hey Charles, There are a lot of merges on the Gillispie/Gillespie line of Francis Marion. Do you want to take a look at them? I couldnt find a consensus of the correct last name :)
