Captain John Gilman is the son of John Gilman (Gilman-1532) and Molly Smith (Smith-173947). Even though I am on the Trusted List for him I have been having trouble adding him because of him being in a Protected Project. Is there someone else that can make this connection for me?

This is a very well transcribed history of Gilmanton and Gilford in Belknap County, New Hampshire. Lots of history containing the early Gilman family. It was written in 1885. http://www.nh.searchroots.com/documents/History_Gilford_NH.txt
