Pierre Gingras, son of Charles Gingras and Françoise Amyot, was born on 12 June 1682 at Rivière-des-Roches. His baptism was recorded in the Neuville parish on 15 June 1682. [1]
Father and mother incorrect on this profile according to source shown in Ancestry.com link :[1]
Father should be Jacques Gingras and mother is Francoise Harnois.
Note: According to the baptism the parents on this profile are correct. The marriage lists the parents as Jacques Jingras and Françoise Harno. The links in PRDH to the parents take you to Charles Gingras and Françoise Amiot Villeneuve. I searched IGD for a Gingras/Harnois couple and there isn't one. Tanguay simply recorded what he saw in the marriage record. It is incorrect.

It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Pierre by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Pierre:
As to Pierre situation , my understanding is that Pierre middle name was Jacque. Consider other sources for the common he used. Perhaps other records will confirm my thoughts on this Merci
