Madeleine was born about 1699. She was the daughter of Alexandre (dit de Ru) Girouard Alexandre Girouard and Marie (Madeleine) Le Borgne Marie Leborgne. She was on the 1701 Census of Port Royal as Mathurine, age 2.
Magdelaine Girouer married Charles Blanchard, son of the late Guillaume Blanchard and the late Huguette Goujon 3 January 1718 in Port Royal, Acadia. Witnesses were Charle Blanchard (the groom), Antoinne Blanchard and J F Flan who have signed, the bride made her mark as did Alexandre Girouer and Pierre Blanchard.[1][2]
