Marie-Josephe Girouard was born in 1716. She was the daughter of Alexandre Girouard and Marie Leborgne. Marie married (1) Louis Dugas in Port-Royal on 27 Oct 1734. They had three known children. After Louis died, she married Thomas Johnson (Jeanson) on 8 Jan 1742 in Annapolis Royal (formerly Port-Royal). [1] There are six known children of this marriage. She passed away before 3 Oct 1768.[2]
