Robert Glass married Vera "Adaline" Woodward on May 27, 1932 in Pennington, Brule County, South Dakota. He was predeceased by his father in 1920 and by a brother, Jack, in 1973. In addition to his wife, he was survived by his mother and a brother, Theodore.

GLASS - Robert Arthur Glass former long time resident of Eugene died of a cardiac arrest Aug. 17, 1989 in a Tualatin Hospital at the age of 81. He was born Dec. 29, 1907 in Pukwana, South Dakota. Was married to Mrs. Adaline Glass on May 27, 1932 in Rapid City, South Dakota. He lived in Eugene since 1945. He was an original partner in the Cougill & Hansen and Glass Realtors. He left that firm to start Bob Glass Realtors. He was the past president of the Realty Board and of the Multiple Listing Association in Eugene. He retired in 1971. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 357 in Eugene. Survived by his wife Adaline of Mesa, Arizona; daughter, Marylou Chaffee, in Portland; son, Robert M. Glass, Eugene; brother, Theodore Glass, Eugene; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Private family services were held. Disposition was by cremation. Contributions in his memory may be made to Sacred heart Hospital, Eugene, Care of the New Cardiac Care Unit. The Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes of Portland in charge of arrangements.
