Biography

Annie Glasscock was born about 1845. Her 1932 Death Certificate, (filled out and signed by her son, Dr. Hubert M. Blaydes), had a few errors, but reveals some interesting things: 1) She may have been born in Scotland; 2) While living in her own place in Louisville, KY, Annie "slipped and fell", breaking fracturing her hip; 3) death occured two days later in LaGrange, KY at the home of her son, Hubert Blaydes, MD.

By 1910, Annie was a widow living in her owned home with her youngest living child, Rebecca who is 23. That Census also recorded that only 3 of the 8 children she gave birth to are still living. ^[1]
